I personally think that was really rude of them, what do you think?

I was just watching season 6 episode 32 and they had a flash back and Sarah was blurred out for some reason. Anyone know why?

So obviously everyone is in control and responsible for their own actions. All the Moms who spoke badly about a kid that is on them. However, I feel before Kira joined whenever lines got blurred and the kids heard the Moms talking about them. The Moms did show remorse and I don’t think they intended to hurt them. I think emotions got high but I’ve noticed in season 1-3 we do see the Moms apologise to eachother or the kids at times. I feel when Kelly left the precedent really went out the window. Jess also carried this problematic notion with her bullying and terrible comments. The way Kira spoke about Sarah was horrendous and she never really got held to account. The select Moms stood up for Sarah but their word did not hold as much leverage. I think Kira even made a really bad comment about Sarah later this episode to the point Christi told her to not say that. And yet she ended up trying to physically push Tracey for being pissed at her at the bar they went too later this episode. 😭 Kira continued to bully Sarah for a whole week. It was horrendous. I don’t see how any Mom can talk about their daughters friend like that. Idc how much you don’t like her Mom putting down a 12/13 year old to boost ur own kid shows you have a terrible ego. Then Kira making fun of JoJo and legitimising this behaviour that the girls later mirrored. The Moms even defended this which is another story. I feel the OG Moms had a way better sentiment on keeping the kids out of it. Which is why the later seasons annoyed me. I do think ofc Kira being rude to Sarah created drama and a storyline for the show. So the Moms were being prodded to talk about other peoples kids dancing for the camera. Even so Kira was insulting Sarah’s talent and essentially calling her a loser in front of everyone. It was a clear power imbalance. Kira is a bully and she did not get enough backlash on the show for the way she conducted herself. Jess as well continued this normalisation with her big mouth when she joined. Sarah seems happy and thriving now on social media but she could’ve seriously harmed her mental health with her commentary. I also want to point out it’s ironic all the kids Kira spoke down on Camryn, Sarah and JoJo went on to be stars. Sarah is currently a cheerleader for the NFL lol she actively still dances. This is rlly why parents shouldn’t live thru their children and keep their mouth shut about everyone else’s.

Netflix just posted about Maddies new Christmas movie!

At some point in season six, during the episode where Kendall and JoJo had solos, and Brynn and Nia respectively, were learning their solos, during Jill’s interview, she says that Kendall was being groomed to be the next star.

I think at some point during the show, Jill probably did believe that Kendall was supposed to be the next breakout star after Maddie. I feel like that’s probably why she put so much faith in Abby as Kendall’s manager. I figured maybe Jill thought that since it worked out for Melissa’s kids, she figured it would work out for her daughter. Unfortunately, it didn’t feel like Abby really cared that much about the success of the other kids aside from Maddie. For Chloe and Nia, she actively sabotage them out of spite, for Brooke and Paige, it seemed like she didn’t really care, and for dancers she did like such as Kalani, Brynn, Elliana, Lilliana, and even Brady from the 8 team, she didn’t appear all that invested in their careers.

This is by no means trying to downplay their successes, because a lot of kids from the show are doing very well in life, but I mean when it comes to A-list celebrity status it seems the only ones able to achieve that where Maddie and JoJo. I figured maybe Jill at some point thought that it would happen for Kendall but it didn’t.
