What are the best cantrips, level 1 spells, and level 2 spells for an Aberrant Sorcery Sorcerer build that fully leans into the psionic/cosmic horror vibe while still being strong in combat and utility? Looking for spells that fit the mind-control, telepathy, psychic damage, and reality-warping theme without breaking character flavor.
I bought the 2024 Dungeons & Dragons 5E Player’s Handbook when I was just starting to get into D&D, and recently I’ve been trying to use the official D&D Beyond character tools for my sorcerer. From what I understand, there’s no way to verify or convert ownership of the physical book to unlock the content digitally on the site unless you buy it again there.
Is there any other good way to keep track of a character besides paper? I’m mainly struggling with managing all my sorcerer abilities, spell slots, metamagic, and leveling stuff without forgetting things constantly, especially during combat. I’d prefer something digital or easier to organize, but I really don’t want to have to repurchase the same book again or other content just to use the official tools.
