Hi, I’m posting on behalf of my friend because we’re honestly stuck and don’t know what else to try.
Recently, my friend was contacted by someone claiming that his account was being sold in a Discord server. With the help of this said person, he joined that server and was put in contact with people claiming to be “mods” who could help him recover/control the situation.
Instead, this turned out to be a scam. They gained access to his account, traded away his limited items (including Frozen Horns of the Frigid Planes and others), changed all of his login details, and then deleted the account entirely.
Since then, he has; Contacted Roblox Support multiple times, provided the original email used on the account, given his username and phone number, sent billing receipts/purchase history showing ownership of items, and provided UAIDs for stolen limiteds to track them.
Despite all of this, support only responds with automated messages saying they “cannot provide further information” and closes the ticket. He has also: Requested to speak to a real person (no success), tried the Roblox support phone number which just redirects him back to email support.
At this point, we’re really unsure what else can be done.
Questions: Is there any way to actually reach a real human at Roblox Support? Has anyone successfully recovered a deleted account in a situation like this? Is there a better way to submit tickets (category, wording, etc.) that gets past the automated responses? Can anything be done to recover stolen limiteds using UAIDs?
Any advice or help would seriously mean a lot. This account had a lot of value (both financially and personally), and it’s frustrating to hit a wall with support.
