I need some help figuring out the last things about a cha based sorcadin with mostly sorcerer levels

Context: dragonmarks encouraged, party needs a frontline, free origin, mostly we will play level 1-10

Build

Human

pala 1/sorc 5/pala 6 /sorc X

STR 16/DEX 8/CON 14/INT 8/WIS 10/CHA 17

Draconic sorcery

Oath of devotion

Metamagic: subtle/quickened

Weapons: trident +shield

Feats:

Mark of passage

Tough

Potent dragonmark (lvl 5)

Warcaster (lvl 9)

Typical turn

True strike (with adv for on innate sorcery) trident for topple mastery

Bonus action smite for damage or quickened spell for control or aoe.

Idea is having a frontline that act as a paladin, but has more spells and fun stuff from metamagic.

*Am I resistant enough for frontline?*

Sorcerer hp is low, even if I go draconic sorcerer. I’m taking tough to compensate, will it be enough? Ac should be good, with heavy armor, shield and shield spell, and I am going to take absorb elements for defense against spells.

*concentration saves*

Right now I have +2, which I fear might be too low. I won’t get paladin aura until lvl 11, which is a bit late. I considered starting STR 15/CON 16 for better con saves, but I also need to sacrifice -1 on all wisdom saves which is bad. Alternative is starting sorcerer for control proficiency, but in this case I lose heavy armor. I tried to build it with 13 STR 16 DEX/12 CON, so I can still multiclass, use draconic resilience for AC, but in this case I probably have too little hp (and also lose wis proficiency in saves)

*damage*

Will my damage be enough, relying on true strike (with advantage) and high level slots smites? Or will the enemies just ignore me?

Overall do you think this is playable or am I tricking myself? Do you have any tips on improving this build?
