Does anyone know what car insurance base your quote on these days? my friend is getting quoted £70pm for a car with same size engine as mine and slightly newer, and i have to pay £220pm. I’ve been driving for over 3 years now and she’s a first time driver. I had a small crash when I first passed but even when I don’t include it I get quoted around £180pm. I have put my mileage down to 4000 as I don’t have to drive to work so it’s for social use only. Does anyone know if there’s anything else I could do?

does anyone know anywhere doing cash in hand weekend jobs? need a bit of money in my pocket, nothing long term as I already have a ft job but it’s not enough atm as I live alone. I have worked in hospitality before and am a fast learner.
