You guys did it!!!! You saved my routine! My hair has never felt freaking softer while curly! Thank you guys 🥰

It definitely going to take some practice to learn the correct amount of product, but I think I did a pretty decent job!

I washed and conditioned with Eva NYC frizz fighter
Then I applied Not your mothers leave in spray on soaking wet hair
And then the Ouidad advanced climate control gel
( I did have to add some additional leave in and water after the gel because my hair started to tangle a bit while brushing the product in… I think brushing it in was my issue, next time when I apply gel I’m just going layer it on top and pray hands it through my hair)
Then I flipped my head over and scrunched then scrunched with my towel
And I hover dried for about 15 minutes with my head upside down and side to side till the cast started to form.
Dried till about 95% dry, went so bed with it up in a bonnet, then scrunched with oil this morning!

After two years and blow drying my hair straight, and my hair deciding to change with this new 26 year old puberty that I guess happens. I’ve decided to embrace the curls again! But it looks like my old method isn’t working, and I feel a bit lost and frustrated with my hair….

It feel frizzy and unruly. I do have what I suspect is new hair growth (I’m hopping) from a home made hair growth oil I use before every wash, which is what I think is causing the crazy frizz on the very top on my head… and I’m sure a curly cut would help my hair a lot, but I do still love wearing it straight every now and then.

The routine I did before these photos was
Cerced clarifying shampoo
Eva nyc hair mask
Pattern leave in on very wet hair
Eva nyc curl cream
Pattern curl gel
Pattern mouse
And diffused and scrunched with some oil
