Really happy with my upgraded solar generator setup
I’ve been experimenting with solar power for a while, mainly to enhance my camping experience.
Before upgrading my system, I was using portable solar panels. They worked, but honestly the setup was a bit inconvenient. I had to constantly set them up, adjust the angle, move them around during the day, and sometimes worry about wind knocking them over or losing efficiency due to positioning.
So eventually I switched to the Jackery 3600 Plus. The 6000-cycle LiFePO4 battery and long lifespan (around 16+ years of use potential) also made it feel like a more reliable and safer long-term option. I can just store energy and use it when needed.
Right now, I mainly use it to power a grill and a small portable air conditioner while camping. Has anyone else made a similar upgrade? How are you integrating solar and portable power stations into your camping setup?
