Hello everyone,

We're a group of four adults planning a trip to South Goa, and we'd also like to drive down to Dandeli. I was wondering if it's possible to take a self-drive rental car outside of Goa state boundaries.

If so, what is the permit process like, and are there specific rental companies that allow interstate travel to Karnataka?

If taking a self-drive rental isn't feasible or involves too much hassle at the border, what are the best alternatives for a group our size to travel comfortably between South Goa and Dandeli?
