Arrange/forced marriage stories.

"Do authors use forced /arrange marriage as a permit for love story?"

I mean why Indian author don't have any ideas? And even if they do why they are always underrated/ Hard to find? The top trending books are all arranged/forced marriages.

I have read many American books with enemies to lovers there are so many other plots like roommates/ ceo- employee/ friends to lovers/ badboy/ fake dating/ and even other plots but why Indian books are stucked at marriages??

I mean is there a thing that marriage gives them permit to actually have a chemistry? Or it's that love story before marriage is not acceptable in India.?

Not calling out arrange marriages authors there are few books that are genuinely soft and comforting but I just don't see versatile authors in India.

Also I have seen so many Indian trending books with toxic content like there's a book with 10+ million reads and it's all about guy forcing the girl and taking revenge when girl has actually lost her memory, so she remembers nothing , Also He marries her on gun point?? Another where guy arranges the whole marriage thing , and stalks females all the time until they get married , he is manipulative as hell. It has over 7 million reads.

I just wanna say to the readers please move on from marriage tropes and give other tropes a chance. You may express your views in replies too.
