Driver Tried to Rip Me Off; Lyft Ignored Me
I ordered a Lyft to take my elderly mother home. She accidently left her keys in the car. Lyft states that a driver can ask for 20 bucks to return left items. I had no problem paying 20 bucks to get they keys back, but the driver demanded I give her more money, which is extortion.
I complained to Lyft and they were apologetic and said they would get back to me. They never did. I realized that their customer service is AI, which grovels but never actually does anything. The enshitification continues.
Now, I guess I'll use Waymo. At least I know I'm dealing with robots and not being lied to about it.
