This is a CACG POP 1 1881-CC VAM-3 MS62 Morgan Dollar. Many dealers try to down play a POP 1 from CACG because they are “new” but the entire coin market pays more for them? Everyone I’ve talked to acts like the pop 1 don’t matter to much in this case and I understand the vam 3 pop 1 is very niche but just wanted your opinion on how the pop 1 effects the price of this specific coin in your opinion?

What Grade would you give this 1881-CC? Her Auction is ending at great collections in about 10 hours and I think she’s under-graded. The MS-63+ photo#1 looks remarkably clean for the grade—almost looks like a shot at a 64 if it were in a different holder. Then there's an MS-62 photo #2 VAM-3 cac pop1 that seems completely ignored right now with basically zero views.

I’m wondering on average what percent does this toning add to the CPG?

1881-o straight graded, go ahead and guess the grade. This sis just one example I’m using to prove CAC is Robbing the coin collecting community blind! First please review the photos and give fair grade and I will let you know what cacg gave me. This is a great example to use but they have done this on every single coin, and some are way way way worse then others. Meaning everyone knows cacg is conservative and will grade a point or 2 lower then ngc or pcgs but they “sell” for more compared to same grade by other third party companies. So the fees are cheaper and they sell for more what’s the catch, well the catch is your 65 will be a 63 ok a good day and a 62 on a normal day and a 61 on a bod day. Graded had a bad day your ms65 cc just got a wheel mark details grade , those die polishing lines that straight graded the last 10 coins are now wheel marks because my drive to work was bad etc. I digress. This coin got a freaking ms62 I’m 1000% sending it to another grading company I’m filming the entire process and CACG will be exposed. They are not worth the hype or your time, stick with pcgs. Let me know if this a 62 or what? I have cacg 63+ that look worst the this coin…. In photos and in person. We all know these cacg photos make the coin look its absolute worst too and I truly mean that, it’s great when buying because you see every single mark, the coins always look way better in person as your eyes can’t pick up all the details the photos do. Would love to know everyone’s opinion on this grade and cacg in general?

1878 8tf ms63PL pcgs certified, I got this coin in a fair trade recently at the Baltimroe show. I’m about 600-650 into the coin and noticed it appears to be VAM 14.3? I have put hours of research into this coins series of vams and I’m almost certain it’s a 14.3 (doubled bow) though?
I have never seen machine doubling like this before?? It’s so dramatic, if it is machine doubling does the severity of it provide any value? It’s a 1989-p penny reverse doubling and obverse appears to have no doubling. Let me know your thoughts on if this has any additional value above face value and if so how much (estimated)

She’s a 63PL and the bottom of the “kidney bean” which is circled is not as frosty as the the rest of the coin so it blends in, that’s why I circled it. I think she might be a VAM 9 what do you think?
I’m hoping for a ms 61-62 grade but I’m not well versed on this specific series and just want to get more insight before getting it graded. I know you can only tell so much from a photo but based on these photos what grade do you believe it should/ could receive?

What would you grade these 2 coins? First 2 photos are of a 1882-s and the second 2 are of a 1880-s (8/7 vam 12.2)

I just had some gsa cc’s graded by cacg the photo shows al the same date (1881-cc) why is the ms-62 showing pop 1 and the ms 63+ is showing pop 8? Also the prices are pretty much the same across 3 grades (61-63+) (ms61= 1k ms63+=1150??) any insight would help, I’m very new to grading coins and registry’s in general.
