i've got the deposit deadline coming up for both unis and i'm feeling fairly indecisive between the 2. For uofa i'd want to specialize into mechatronics engineering or maybe electrical engineering but mcgill im almost locked into software.

for mcgill i'd be paying 30-40k extra for what i only see as the mcgill label, i'm not even sure if their actual program is better.

looking for advice on what is better for career ceilings and grad school options too.
