I have a two week old and we are currently EBF. She is actually doing great and my supply is definitely there. However, she has really taken to comfort suckling. Which I don’t mind, but she’ll quickly trigger a let down and it totally freaks her out. She’ll abruptly pop right off but then immediately want to go back to nursing. Should I just give her a paci? I really don’t want to ruin her latch but I can tell she just wants comfort and the let down is ruining it.

I am 8 days PP with my second. My first is five years old so I feel like I’m starting all over again. Plus breastfeeding did not go well, but this time it’s come much easier.

I am wondering if it’s normal for a newborn to only take one side per feed. She will spend the 15-20 minutes on one side most times and then fall asleep.

She has plenty of wet diapers and ample pooper, so she is giving me the signs that she is getting enough. I don’t pump a lot, but when I do it’s constantly 1-2 ounces on each side.
