How to buy train tickets from Sainshand to Beijing?
I'm planning on going on a trip from Ulaanbaatar to Beijing, and really wanted to do this experience by train. I was thinking, however, in breaking up the trip in Sainshand, both because it's going to be more comfortable than a 36 hour journey, but this city also seems very pretty and interesting to travel to.
However, even though the train from Ulaanbaatar to Beijing stops at Sainshand, I can't find a way to buy this ticket online. All websites I saw sell it beginning in Ulaanbaatar. So is there any way to buy this train ticket from Sainshand online? Or do I have to arrive in Ulaanbaatar first, and then buy it there?
And by the way, would it be better to just do this trip directly, without the stop at Sainshand? I thought it would be nice, but maybe there isn't much to see.
