Need an appointment to the emigration office
Hi everyone,
I really need some advice.
I’m trying to renew/update my Aufenthaltstitel card (the plastic ID card for immigrants/refugees in Berlin), but the Berlin immigration office system seems completely broken.
About 4 months ago I used the official website form to request an appointment for renewing my documents. After submitting the request, I received nothing — no appointment, no email, no update at all
I already went to the Bürgeramt, but they told me this has to be handled by the immigration office. I also went there in person, and the employee literally just gave me a paper with a link to the exact same website and the same appointment request form that I already filled out months ago.
My documents need to be renewed urgently and I honestly don’t know what to do anymore.
Has anyone been in a similar situation recently in Berlin?
Is there any way to speed this up, contact someone directly, or get an emergency appointment?
Any advice would really help.
