I do stand up comedy. I've done it everywhere and really to all ages. I've always noticed that (generally speaking) older people are the most difficult to make laugh. Especially older men. Were they taught as kids not to laugh and be silly? They seem unimpressed and if not irritated. They also don't like affection. They'll shake your hand from a distance but they just don't really open up, unless they are really drunk. Older women laugh easier but still not as easily as young people. Any idea as to why? Thanks.
