Is the nano-texture display on the MacBook Pro M5 Pro 16" actually worth?

Hey everyone,

I'm about to pull the trigger on a MacBook Pro M5 Pro 16" and I'm stuck on one thing: the nano-texture display upgrade.

So I wanted to ask people who actually use it daily: is the nano-texture display a genuine game changer, or is it one of those things that sounds great on paper but you barely notice in real life?

A bit of context about my use case:

- I do video editing and color grading

- I don't always work in a controlled dark environment, sometimes I'm on location, in bright rooms, or in places with lots of natural light

- I'm wondering if it makes a real difference for grading, or if the glossy screen is perfectly fine for that

Basically: will I regret not getting the nano-texture?

What could I improve in my grading?

Hey everyone,

I’m super new to color grading and honestly my eye for it is really bad right now lol.
For these images I basically just applied CinePrint and did a few random adjustments without really knowing what I’m doing.

I’d genuinely love some feedback from people who know grading better than me

Is adding white musk to your fragrance actually worth it?

Hey, I wear Thé Noir 29 by Le Labo and I’m looking for a cheap white musk fragrance/oil to layer with it. I want something clean, soft, “skin scent” vibes, not super sweet or super oriental. Do you guys think white musk layering actually makes a difference with fragrances like Thé Noir 29? And if yes, any affordable recommendations? Thanks :)

Atomos Shinobi keeps resetting 4:3 frame guide after reboot, is there any way to save it permanently?

Hey everyone,

I’m using an Atomos Shinobi and I like shooting with the 4:3 frame guide enabled.

The problem is that every time I turn the monitor off and back on, the 4:3 setting resets and I have to enable it again manually.

Is there any way to make the 4:3 frame guide stay enabled permanently after reboot? Maybe a setting I missed, a preset, or a firmware thing?

Thanks!
