Have you ever worked with Russian client as VA?

Hey guys. Meron na ba dito nagkaron na ng russian client? I was hired as schedule manager for a salon pero as per website, majority of the workers are russians kasi nga russian services sila. So i wonder how is it to work with them. Ive only handled americans so far.

I amaware of the very bad reviews. I have been applying for a VA position and looking for direct clients since April 9. My previous client was a fraud. Truth to be told, it is really hard to hunt for clients these days. Everyone is your actual competition. I gave Athena a try. So it's true, the recruiter interview was tough - would really test your ability to think quickly. Majority were situational questions.

I am scheduled for a final validation call this week. Much as I want to pursue this, I am still hopeful that I can get a direct client. I talked to one CEO in Linked In but he is still in the research of hiring a VA. I have been doing client reach-out for a week now. Honestly, I don't know. The salary is low in Athena but I am after the learning. I read na worth naman daw ang hirap. May govt deductions din pala. E kaya nga ko umalis sa corpo bec of the fcking taxes na napupunta lang sa mga buwaya. My first 2 freelance jobs after leaving corpo pay more than Athena but I am out of options right now. Bills are piling up. Cold calling is not my niche. EA role is calling me but everyone is kalaban sa EA role. Hirap. Any advices? I have 8 yrs exp in BPO leadership role.
