Why did he remove me as a follower but keep following me? F24 M24
I have been talking to a guy (24M) for a while. He was flirting, talking almost daily, and planning a date.
Last week, he went silent for two days.
He then sent me a voice message apologizing for the lack of communication, explaining that he was feeling overwhelmed with exams and told me he misses talking to me.
I replied, wishing him luck and mentioned that it’s okey and I had also been sick lately.
After I sent that, he left me on "seen." Shortly after, he removed me as a follower on Instagram, but he has continued to follow me.
I am confused by this change in behavior, specifically regarding the choice to remove me as a follower while keeping me as a following. I would appreciate some perspective on what this type of behavior might signify in a dating context, or how others interpret these kinds of social media boundaries.
