In case you haven't heard, the St. Vrain Valley School District hired a ped*phile and ch*ld pornogr*pher (censored for filters, not oversensitivity to the words), and after allegations he had exploited their students, they gave him nearly $50,000 to resign and stay quiet via a non-disclosure agreement, but they did NOT notify the Colorado Department of Education. He is now charged with 40 felonies.
"It raises a lot of concerns ... If St. Vrain knew this was the situation, why was his license not flagged or reported to the Colorado Department of Education?"
"The resignation agreement with St. Vrain Valley Schools required the district to pay Patricio Illanes for the rest of the school year – nearly $50,000 – and keep the agreement confidential."
Someone told me the St. Vrain Valley School District is in talks to close Indian Peaks Elementary after 15 years of declining enrollment and recent very low enrollment.
St. Vrain is closing Sanborn in 2027:
and Carbon Valley is closing this year:
Has anyone heard about Indian Peaks students being moved to Burlington? See below: A 20-year enrollment chart for Sanborn and Indian Peaks.
