Like usual, I stopped in at a few of my favorite LCS and decided to grab these two old PCGS Rattlers. The MS64 has a nice little bit of toning coming in, and for a decent price, I decided to grab them for my picks this week. I paid a total of ($195) for these two, and they will, as usual, go in the safe until my kids are older.
I stopped into my other favorite LCS to see if they had a Morgsn I had requested a while ago. They still haven't gotten it in yet, but I did grab a few others for my collections. I nice little toner and a nice clean Ms65.
In total, for both, I spent $215 so not a bad price or grab. God bless my fellow Morgan hunters 1Luv
Every once in a while, I will pull out a few tubes of my morgans and look at them all. It brings back a lot of memories of collecting over the years with my Gpa (now deceased) as well as my Pops who still collects mostly gold nowadays. I have to give credit to them as they put me onto the PM journey, and now, in my mid-40s, I have begun to get my young kids(13,10,8) interested in them. My entire collection will one day be there's to pass on and enjoy like I do. I personally love the dark grey and black toners they are by far my favorite morgan as they always seem to tell a story of a long journey thru time. I just thought I'd share a few of my Morgans with everyone. A few decent CCs and some semi key dates as always. God bless everyone on their Morgan hunting journeys. 1Luv
I've seen these in there before but never really grabbed them as they seem like just a gimmick, but for under spot, I couldn't pass it up. He sold it to me for $60 and gave me a nice leather case to put some of my graded coins in for free with my buy. I went in to tell them to keep an eye out for some of the Binion Morgans for a good price for me. Black Bart will have to work today, and any morgan for well under spot is always a win in my book.
I stopped in today at my LCS like I do every week and decided to grab this beauty he had just picked up. I paid a little more than I wanted to, but it kept catching my eye. (Paid $150) Another nice piece to go in the safe for my kids future collection.
I dont know if im just seeing nothing or going crazy trying to see if that is a partial V or just some odd damage to this half. Any takers
