Pulled after leaving plate in freezer for around 10-15 hours on highest freezer setting, so cold as fuck. I noticed when I poured off the rest of the naphtha still in the plate that it was slightly cloudy. My yield of DMT was still good.

I saved it just incase, but I was wondering if there is a chance there’s any dmt still left in the naphtha, or if it’s just impurities, plant oils, etc

Can anyone shed some light onto why water keeps on getting into my final naphtha solution that I put into my freezer? I follow his steps exactly, am careful not to let any in throughout the process, and cover the plate fully with plastic wrap before putting it in the freezer.

It’s enough water to create an annoying little clump of ice clumped in the plate when I pull it out of the freezer, which takes longer to dry.

I’m 99% sure the water is in the naphtha solution BEFORE I put it in the freezer as I can see it floating around in the naphtha when doing the reduction.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I know people in this sub kind of shit on it….. but is it really that terrible? I don’t need perfect, just not terrible. Doing gordo atm and my first two yields been terrible, around 100mg each, I’m trying to figure out whether it’s the too low PH from using calcium hydroxide, or just poor bark quality.

Have any of you had luck with gordo? Should I add more calcium hydroxide to the mud pie?

Making me paranoid having a bottle of it lying around even if temporary….. it’s safe as long as it’s got a lid on properly, stored in a cool dark place right? No meaningful amount of fumes will escape?
