E-bikes on sidewalks.
My dad was walking my dog earlier this evening, when out of nowhere a grown ass man on an e-bike hits my dog. My dad said the rider was going so fast that he didn't see him until he was already 30' away rolling on the ground.
By some miracle my dog is okay, the guy was roughed up a bit but also fine. My dad (a biker) surprisingly only gave him a fairly stern talking to, and he still tried to defend himself by saying "I slowed down".
I understand teenagers are idiots, but this guy was in his 30's. When is enough going to be enough? Is there some kind of traumatic brain injury threshold we have to hit before we consider banning e-bikes? I'm all for personal freedom, but it is very clear that people are too outright dumb to be trusted with certain things.
