PRK 45th Day, Will it get any better?

Hello folks. I had my PRK on May 11th. Ablation numbers are: Right Eye -7.75 SPH, -2.0 CYL, Left Eye -6.75 SPH, -2.0 CYL. So my numbers are pretty high in total.

I had my control at day 37. Assistant told me my left eye is zeroed. As for right eye I know it couldn't be zero at the moment since I see a bit blurry like I have -1.0 CYL astigmatism in it due to high number and yet to heal, so I didn't ask about right eye.

Then I went to doc, he said everything is going very good which is I agree. My left eye sees %150 while right is %100 but a bit astigmatism in it, like double letters. I trust to the doc but I still want to hear from other experienced fellow patients.

So will my right eye will get better even tho I am at day 45th? Any similar experience out there?

Post PRK Recovery Need opinion

Hi,

29 years old, -8.0 SPH -2.0 CYL right eye, -7.0 SPH -2.0 CYL left eye done in 11 May this monday.

I went to the doctor today (16 May) for Bandage Covering Lens. He checked my eyes and he said there are yet to be healed places in my kornea. So he applied new covering lenses with small myopia to make me feel better. He told me to come monday check and remove newer BCL

Before removlng old BCL i could only see near distance like 2 meters max. Further distances are blurred like having myopia or astigmatism.

Truth to be told, I was downcast after reinstalling new BCL with some myopia boost contact lenses because most of the post op comments were like “ I was able to see very good before removing BCL”.

Will I be able to see like my glasses like pre-op? Or when will my eyesight will improve? Other than, non-sore or burning eyes I feel like nothing improved in terms of vision…
