Our plane lands in Marseille at 8pm. We would like to get to Avignon as quickly as possible.
But I can't find a train at this time of night. I can only find one bus (Flixbus), which leaves Marseille Saint-Charles at 10:15pm and arrives in Avignon at 11:45pm.
Is it possible that there really is no public transport between the two cities in the evening, or am I looking in the wrong place?
Another question: the Flixbus will stop in Le Pontet, on the outskirts of Avignon. Will I be able to find a taxi/Uber around midnight to take me to the accommodation? Can you recommend an app/service provider?
