It’s been two weeks since I have been done with difffixid then a 7 day vanco taper I just started having some clear mucus when I pass gas …I am so afraid this is the start of a relapse ..I have had no diarrhea..yet

I was in the hospital for cdiff infection after diverticulitis flare but then was going to get a drain put in ..at the last minute I mean the last second interventional radiology re-read my CT with contrast and said it was Oavrian cyst that was causing air into Fallopian tube and wasn’t 7cm won’t operate at this time..anyone out there have a similar experience?!?! I feel like I am losing my mind
Can everyone please help me when did you finally know you were turning a corner and getting over cdiff? Were you able to eat more? Pass gas ? Just felt better? Any signs or advice would help so much I am just scared to relapse …

What were the signs you had a perforation? Was your stomach hard ? Not pooping ? Please give me all the details
I had a diverticulitis flare up less then two months ago , came home on antibiotics got CDiff took vancomycin didnt either get rid of it or had a relapse then now having an another diverticulitis flare up ..could the cdiff cause my flare up?
I had my first flare end of May beginning of June news in the hospital for 3 days , came home on augmentin/amoxicillin got cdiff ..I took vanco but had diarrhea today one time with mucus . Does this mean it’s a relapse or is this just a fluke? And does anyone still have some back pain and pelvic pain periodically..I notice when my stomach gets upset this starts to happen…any advice would. E great
I did ten 10 days on vanco everything was perfect only going to the bathroom once a day, completed it last Thursday now my stomach is starting to feel upset ..I had two normal bowel movements today but just “farted” farted yellow mucus that ameels

I had taken vancomycin for a few days on accident skipped a couple doses then started getting back diarrhea and mucus so I started a 10 day course with also taking florastor and just finished it ..I am so scared CDiff will come back I just when to the bathroom the first day off of vanco and there was a little mucus please tell me this is normal ..I am having bad dreams about having a reoccurrence

I had a bad diverticulitis flare sent home taking amoxicillin augmentin - got diagnosed with cdiff after 7 days of antibiotics everything was fine stool was solid. Then started eating more freely like chocolate and cantaloupe cookies etc ..had a loose bowel yesterday and some mucus . Is this a reoccurrence or is this something that sometimes just happens -I am also taking Florastor
How did you know which is which ? Or will my stomach just be like this for awhile?
How did everyone know they had CDiff? I was just on a 10 day antibiotic run after being in the hospital..I also started taking a pre and pro biotic and have diarrhea only a couple times a day but it is watery ..I am so lost right now..please again begging for advice
I had gotten diagnosed with diverticulitis about 3 weeks ago with a hospital inpatient stay with abscess. I came home taking 10 more days of amoxicillin-augmentin . I have had diarrhea for a few days after then started taking a pre and probiotic then started having gas pains and watery diarrhea..is this normal? I am so scared how would I know if it’s CDiff? I just want to feel good again and have my old life back and this just seems like such a up hill battle

I know I keep posting here but I had a micro perforation with abscess ..don’t always need surgery or could it be a one time bad thing that you can recover from? I really want to be careful and mend my body not get surgery any help would be greatly appreciated
I had a post last weekend about this I had a micro perforation and so scared I am still not doing good ..I can’t tell if it’s mental or physical?!?!? I have some left hip pain and back pain but I always hunt her over on my left side was laying in my hip twisted last night sleeping …it’s not the same a still flare pain. But I am so worried about it please help you guys I keep having panic attacks …
No fever loss of appetite just felling of scared so over sensitive to everything after the hospital stay
I was just diagnosed two weeks ago, was inpatient at the hospital with IV antibiotics and had small perforation , I am in a constant state of panic-I am so afraid I will have to go back to the hospital..I am 10 days out from being there - I just feel so floored and shock with the diagnosis I had no clue ..
I still have some lower back pain but I have been favoring my left side and sitting on my hip hunched over ..I also just started my period and it has been really hard on me ..
Can anyone talk me off the ledge?
I was misdiagnosed twice with a muscle pull and then had to become inpatient at the hospital to find out I have diverticulitis. I had a small perforated colon less then 3 centimeters and didn’t need a drain but got IV antibiotics. I am two days out from being in the hospital and feel pretty good ( knock on wood) my question is will this heal on its own? What does life look moving forward? And did everything change for you ? Any advice would be great 😊
