help i’m worried
hello. so my bf got his snap hacked and photos stolen. he was then threatened to send money or they will send them out and ruin his image. threatening to post that he’s a “predator and raped” them. he has since blocked them. i’m hoping thats the end of it because they were gonna leak his number (he’s getting it changed) i believe that there were photos of me on his snap too. the scammer didn’t explicitly talk about a girl but im worried they might have my photos now too. is it likely? also worried he was trying to dm another “girl” and it caused this but thats a different story.
i’ve only ever seen this in the movies it’s insane.
is there anything else we should do? i told him to contact the police, though people say they aren’t of help. i just really don’t want his future to be ruined over him having a cheesy password.
