For practitioners and teachers
What is the concensus on strict Bikram dialogue vs adapted body based teaching (still very dialogue based just not word for word?)
Background I started doing Bikram yoga 15 years ago. When there were really only strict Bikram studios. Now we know things have changed….. but I recently started teaching and I’m curious what students/other teachers like. I am not Bikram trained but my training does mimic Bikram very closely. I work at a studio where the teachers are very experienced and teach more from a body knowledge place combined with dialogue. As im a new teacher but also rooted in traditional Bikram practice im torn on how to teach. I love both styles. Just curious what we think about the evolution of the practice.
Thanks for the input!
