BBS Degree Worth it ?

So, CA's tell me your % in BBS.

And, also does your CA title has able you to have a master's degree in UK or any other country.

As I see that they require 70%+ in a good college as requirement.

And it's a dilemma of everyone I belief, whoever wants to go abroad.

Mine is about 65%

Finally IFoA time is over from India

IAI has allowed to provide free exams for the CM1 CS1 CM2 CS2 CB1 CB2 papers whose family earning is less than 8 lakhs INR and most of them falls under it.

Which means now very few people of India will choose IFoA

after gaining the IAI fellowship they can directly ask for the IFoA fellowship.

And truly, I regret my decision of choosing IFoA currently

It's expensive and believe that it is loosing it's edge from the Asia.

So, UK student don't be happy that IAI cannot enter in the UK market. They had the MRA.

So, what's your point of view and yes I regret choosing IFoA saying it openly.

And, dear IFoA please reduce your fees and make it more feasible for Commonwealth nations. Otherwise, loose your edge.

Completed 4 Papers from IFoA, and stop.

Cleared CM1 CS1 CS2 CB1

So most people are saying to stop at this point just clear CM2 and CB2 and that's it

So I am currently in my 4th sem and I am doing a 4 year degree.

My plan is to sit for CB2 in this sept and CP1 in april and CM2 in next sept.

and along with it CB3 CP3 and CP2 mixing till the 3rd year

But as I see people says don't complete it.

You will be over qualify.

Is there really term of being over qualify.

Why company will not prefer me as I had shown more dedication toward my actuarial journey and I can pay attention to the company more than my exams, which seems to be clear selection.

And in the 4th year (7th sem) I will try to search out for the jobs.

I am just confuse about being over qualified.

What to do with BBS degree 65% ?

Everyone one says in terms of money BBS is better.

But nobody tells after it.

Securing marks in BBS I way more difficult than in BBA.

And UK good college required 75% or 70% as there requirement of 2:1 hons

Now even in the entire course there might be just 3 to 4 people who get these marks.

What others do ?

Any suggestions what can I do with these marks.

Msc csit after 70.5% TU

Just wanted to know. Should I go for Msc cist as I can't find the private jobs in web dev and trying for govt jobs.

And what might be the cost of doing it. As I am unable to see the cost on their websites.

Also which college is best.

BBS with 65% #############

So, who has done Yearly course they might know that.

It's very hard to secure the % and it's division is more difficult and different from other semester based course.

As BBS is:

75%+ Distinction

60%+ 1st division

45%+ 2nd division

35%+ 3rd division

But as i see that most of the foreign college required 70%+ and they consider it as 2:1 hons (which is particularly equal to 1st division).

Now has anyone other has faced such issues.

CM2 Recehecking

This is Qno 4, i. of the 8 marks of the paper A.

And i got 1 marks.

and i had failed by 1 marks only, which means needed just 2.5 marks to pass the exam in this question.

the mistake is that S0 = $95, which i had also written above.

But in the table while calculating mistakely i had written the $100.

And, the entire process seems to be true what should I do?

And also does my entire paper will be recheck or the question I had raised will only be seen.

As, the 1st two markers has given me low marks and the script reviewer has given quiet good marks but still in some lower than the other two examiner.

This is an my interpretation plz look at it. I had written it fastly just to post. Any recommendations for better way.

Exam time clash

There is very high chance that my Bachelor's exams and the actuarial exam of CB2 which I would give in Sept, could be on same day and even slightly same time frame. Is there anyway that if such thing happens I can have slightly 1 or 2 hour shift in exams? Currently my exams form are only open but as of asking teachers it seems to have high chances.

Does anyone has faced similar problem?

Along with that i have my bachelor exams too, till now the exams form has opened and exam date are dues.

In short, I think I would have only 2 months in total. Any suggestions like how much should I study? Does CB2 is easy or difficult subject?
