I’ve spent 6 hours online and I’ve made $33. Gas and Food for the day cost me about $35.

Also, is there a glitch going on with the servers? At first, I was getting very few offers (95% of them being between $2-$3). But the last few hours I’ve gotten almost none, sitting in a hotspot. I’d assume I’d at least get the BS $2 offers, but it’s been silent. Switched to DoorDash to confirm area demand, orders flooding in from DoorDash.

Today has been my second net loss day ever. Usually I make good money. But today I’ve sat here 6 hours? Net loss? Uber has to do something about this.

Made a total of $2.61 per hour today. It’s a Saturday… in Miami. Hopefully there’s a dinner rush!

Doing uber for a net negative (expenses + gas) is lowkey crazy to me… oh well!

I do Uber Eats as a side gig. I work off my laptop and want to get out of the house sometimes. At first it started out well, now this is all the offers I get. I live in Miami, I spend more on gas just getting it there.

They clearly have enough money to pay drivers fairly (eg: the fares we saw on Mother’s Day) - are they trying to drive some drivers out? Do they have to many people?

I would hate to have to give this up as a side gig… But these are the only offers I’m getting on a Thursday at dinner time… is Uber just another greedy corporation?

I only made $42 in tips (highest being $10) and I only take longer trips (10+ miles) so that’s lowkey crazy to me. My average tip was like $1. I feel like I’m very nice and follow all the delivery instructions. But either way shoutout uber for upping the base pay today!

I mean I get it, you want your food. I don’t know if I’m wrong for thinking this comes off slightly passive aggressive. Considering I have ZERO control of when I arrive to you on a stacked order, and no clue what traffic looks like.
