Hey there I have been working for Costco since 2024. I started in the food court then switched to night merch and recently transferred to a new Costco where I am a front end assistant. At the end of the night, they usually have front end employees go work with night merch in the back. But they don’t require them to wear steel toes, while they operate pallet jacks and are near forklifts. And the forklift drivers will bob and weave around employees as they stock the main isle. I even seen one of the supervisors make noises at a forklift operator as they were trying to put a pallet back in the steel. Should I report this? And do I have the right to say I’m not doing night merch anymore.
