Pain and bleeding still at 9 weeks pp
I am 9 weeks postpartum and delivered vaginally. I had four tears. A second degree perineal, labial lacerations and sulcal. My bleeding is very light, only a drop or two when I wipe, and only sometimes.
my main problem is that I have a lot of pain, especially if I’m active at all. I can’t even do the dishes without being in pain for several hours afterwards.
The pain is mostly in my clitoris region which is odd, seeing as all the tearing was lower down or inside. I tend to feel a lot of pressure in that spot and if I touch there, it feels like a sharp pain.
Any ideas as to what’s going on? Any suggestions?
When I went in for my six week appointment he said that I wasn’t fully healed and it would probably take two weeks and then the bleeding should stop. It’s been three weeks and I’m feeling very discouraged. It’s hard to do anything without pain and it’s really affecting my life.
