I'll be starting graduate school at the University of Texas at Austin this fall. I already have housing secured starting on August 20, but I still need a place to stay from August 1-19.

It seems like many housing don't cover that gap period. For those who've been in a similar situation, where did you stay during those couple of weeks?

I'd really appreciate any advice or recommendations for short-term housing options.
