Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some genuine gym recommendations in Visakhapatnam, preferably near MVP Colony, for my parents.

A little background:

My father (62M) is a retired business owner and my mother (52F) is a homemaker. Both are vegetarians and occasionally eat boiled eggs. They mostly consume home-cooked food and rarely eat outside (usually simple tiffins like dosa or idly).

My father is diabetic, but his condition is currently under control. He attends yoga every morning and goes for evening walks. He has a fairly normal build but carries belly fat.

My mother manages all household chores and occasionally joins yoga or walks. Despite eating moderately and staying active at home, she has a heavier build and struggles with fat loss.

Now that they’re retired and have more time, I want them to focus on proper strength training and overall fitness and not just weight loss, but building muscle, improving mobility, and staying healthy long-term.

I’m specifically looking for:

A gym with experienced trainers who can handle senior citizens
Trainers who understand conditions like diabetes
A safe, supportive, non-intimidating environment
Preferably near MVP Colony or nearby areas in Vizag

If anyone has personal experiences or suggestions, I’d really appreciate your input.
