I have 10K Taj Voucher near expiry on 28th May 2026. What options do I have?

1. Request AMEX team for extension? Does Amex provide voucher extension?

2. Is it possible to redeem voucher for dine-in? As I have no recent plans to stay.

3. What other options do I have? Can anyone guide me?

I have an Amex Taj stay voucher which is expiring on 25th May 2026 . My city doesn’t have taj property.

I know that only the voucher holder can make use of it, but what are chances of my friend using the voucher for his stay?

I was charged gst on my yearly payment and when I asked them for a bill they are not giving. If they are charging gst from me on multiple things then why aren't thetly giving proper bill. That my right as a consumer? Anyone faced same?

Got my Amex MRCC in March this year and already spent around ₹3 lakhs on it till now. I’m also hitting all the monthly milestones consistently every calendar month.
My main goal now is to get the Amex Platinum Charge Card within this year somehow.
Current profile:
ITR around ₹12 LPA

Self-employed

Heavy card usage

All payments on time

How realistic is this? And what should I do from now to make this possible this year itself?
Would really like to hear from people who managed to get Platinum Charge with a similar profile or lower income.

I recently got approved for Amex platinum charge. I know the welcome benefit of 50k taj voucher. Is ther any chance i could opt out from this and choose good amount of MR points as welcome benefit. As I won't be using that 50k. But I can use those points for my travel. Has anyone did that before? If yes please guide me how to do it.

I have an Amex Platinum Travel card due for renewal next month and I’m confused whether it still makes sense to keep it.

Current situation:

I also hold an HDFC Infinia, so most of my spending has shifted there.

I probably won’t hit ₹7L annual spend on Plat Travel anymore.

I have around 1 lakh MR points accumulated.

No immediate travel plans.

I already checked with Amex and they said there are no retention offers available on my account.

Now I’m trying to decide:

Should I downgrade to a lower Amex card or just close it?

If I close the card, what’s the smartest way to use/transfer the MR points before closure?

Any transfer partners giving particularly good value right now?

Does transferring points now and holding them somewhere make more sense than keeping the card active?

Is there any practical way people monetize MR points in India if they don’t travel much?

I currently hold a few entry-level credit cards like Axis Flipkart, Axis Neo, IOCL, HDFC Swiggy, and Amazon ICICI. While these cards already give me solid value for my everyday spending, I’ve always had a bit of a fascination with getting an Amex card.

A couple of years ago, I was really into collecting credit cards, and back then my goal was to eventually own an Amex. Even though I’ve moved past that phase, that interest still lingers.

That said, my lifestyle isn’t particularly premium. I don’t travel by flights often, and most of my spending is on online shopping, Swiggy, and utilities. So I’m not sure if an Amex card would actually add meaningful value for me.

Still, I’m considering the Amex SmartEarn card since it has a relatively low joining and annual fee. I’m just unsure whether it makes sense for my usage and if it’s even possible to apply!

Planning to get Platinum Reserve card, the only issue is that my registered address is in Chennai and I am currently living in Mumbai for my work (living in PG)

Does doing V-KYC impact my application? I heard the geo tag where the KYC is done and is cross-checked with the address we put in, wanted to confirm if that’s true.
