Was trying to pay on zepto and amex is not supported. I know zepto is a very petty company but amex not working on a major consumer brand says something. They have given up completely on Indian customers.
I've booked a one-way ticket to Vietnam, and my return date isn't decided yet. Does Vietnamese immigration ask to see proof of onward or return travel? Has anyone here entered on a one-way ticket recently, and did you have any trouble?

I'm visiting Vietnam starting October 2. On my e-visa application I listed HCMC as both my entry and exit port, but with the rain forecast down south I'm now considering flying in and out of Hanoi instead.
Does anyone know if this causes problems at immigration? Can you legally enter/exit through a different port than the one listed on your e-visa application? Would appreciate any first-hand experience.

Apple Watch Series 7, aluminium, out of warranty, no AppleCare+.
How it got here: the watch kept pulling up the lock screen and the power-off/SOS menu on its own. Cleaning didn't help, so I rinsed it under the tap while clicking the button repeatedly (50m rating, so this seemed like a safe thing to try). Afterwards it started boot looping — Apple logo, then shutdown, on repeat.
Independent shop diagnosed it as water damage.
The quote (converted from local currency):
Warranty offered: 3 months.
The alternative: skip it and buy an SE 3 44mm Cellular, which runs about $340 equivalent where I am.
What I'm trying to work out:
Series 7 is still on watchOS 26 so it's not obsolete, but the battery is original and roughly five years old and the screen is badly scratched. Trying to figure out whether I'm rescuing a watch or throwing good money after a dying one.

Me and my partner are doing Vietnam for the first time, Oct 3–11, flying into and out of Ho Chi Minh City. We're not doing the classic north-to-south run - going deep on one region instead. Big interests: food/coffee, history, some adventure, beach time, and live performance if we can find it (traditional theatre, classical, whatever's on).
The shape: 5 nights Saigon, 3 nights Mũi Né, train both ways (SPT2/SPT1), no domestic flights. Added the image with details (generated using AI).
Are we covering too little or does this look fine? Any suggestion that we can add to this trip. Would prefer places that can be visited by train over flight.

Heading to Ho Chi Minh City next month, flying out of Bangalore, India. A bit of context: direct flights between India and Vietnam are pretty limited, and for my dates, Vietjet is the only airline running a non-stop flight - everyone else routes through Bangkok or Kuala Lumpur, adding several hours. Vietjet also comes out around $60 USD cheaper (round trip) than any of those connecting options.
I've read a mix of reviews — good marks on safety, but a fair amount of griping about delays and customer service when things go sideways.
Would love to hear from anyone who's actually flown Vietjet, whether from India or elsewhere in Asia:

I recently visited your city. Main purpose was visiting the Meenakshi Amman temple but I did some city sightseeing in the remaining time I had. I
visited the Thirumalai Nayakar Palace and was disappointed with what I saw.
The palace itself felt poorly maintained - honestly, it barely looked like a palace anymore. The museum inside was forgettable too; most of the exhibits had nothing to do with the palace’s history, and I almost walked past them without noticing.
Made me wonder - how would the palace look if it was repurposed for something else. Here a few images I created using chatGPT which shows how the palace would look like if repurposed for:
- a cultural center
- an upscale shopping arcade
- a coworking space
- a library
- or if it was just renovated well

Wanted to indulge myself in some water sports during my Rameswaram visit. Came to know about quest academy. How is the water sports scene there? Is it safe and would you recommend it?
Visited it couple of years ago when it was under renovation. Is it complete? Will plan the visit accordingly.
Folks, planning to visit Rameswaram soon and wanted to explore something beyond temple and dhanushkodi. Does Rameswaram have a good water sports scene? My comparison is with Pondicherry which has decent scuba and surfing spots. Based on my research I couldn’t find much. None of the organisers are PADI certified and also I couldn’t find any recommendations here on reddit. Please let me know if there is something I am missing.

Hello good people of r/Vietnam_Tourism! Me and my wife will be visiting Vietnam for the first in the October of this year. Our initial plan was Ho Chi Minh + Da Nang and Hue but because of potential rainfall and flooding we are planning for 4 days in Ho Chi Ming and 4 days in Hanoi and skipping the central region. Indigo cancelled my flight from Bangalore to Mangalore for May 23 and sent me a plan b link. I was browsing other options including +/- 1 day and mistakenly I selected a flight for May 22 instead of May 23. I can’t travel on May 22 as I have work that day. Is there any way to reschedule this flight to same time on May 23 free of charge? I mean I had booked the correct flight earlier but all this mess happened because of Indigo cancelling the flight.
