Recently, the government did a resurvey. We live in another state, so we did not know about it.

After the resurvey, the records now show 60 cents for us and 60 cents for our neighbour.

We went to the MRO office, and they said our neighbour needs to come and sign to change it back. But our neighbour has been avoiding us for the last two months. Every time we contact him, he gives a different reason. Today, he said he will not come for another four months.

What can we do if the neighbour refuses to come and sign?

Ranting because I'm genuinely furious right now. Booked VKV Travels for a Chennai to Madurai trip, planned my whole journey around it, travelling with small kids, so this isn't something I can just "adjust" casually. One hour before departure, call comes: "bus broken down, only one seat available in another bus." Not a choice, that ONE seat was it. Take it or sort yourself out. Replacement bus wasn't even going to the destination I booked in Madurai. The "seat" they forced on me? Last upper berth. With small kids. One hour's notice, zero alternatives. Here's the part that really gets me, the bus was NOT broken down. It just wasn't fully booked. So instead of running it anyway, they cancel it, lie about a "breakdown," and dump all of us onto whatever seats are left elsewhere. This has happened to me twice this month. Twice. If you're planning a Chennai–Madurai trip with family, please think twice before booking VKV. This isn't a breakdown issue, it's how they handle people once they already have your money. Anyone else been through this with VKV on this route? Curious how common this actually is?

two years ago, on one random night, my long-time football friend (a doctor) and i created a whatsapp group.

the idea was very simple. make football a regular thing on every saturday.

but we were very clear about what kind of community we wanted to build.

a safe, non-judgemental football group where beginners, amateurs, 30+ guys, introverts, and people who thought they could never play again can just come and enjoy the game.

so we enforced some strict rules like,

* no abusing people for wrong passes.
* no aggressive tackles.
* no mad high-power shots.
* respect the goalkeepers.
* play only for fun and passion.

because of these rules, lot of people actually group ah vitu kelambitaanga... lol. 😂

but my friend and i stuck to the same thing. we wanted a safe football community. no shouting or judging, no behaving like scouts from real madrid are watching you.

and now, somehow, we are 100+ people 😭

all madurai-based football fanatics, from different age groups and completely different walks of life.

>doctors, lawyers, architects, entrepreneurs, IT dudes, marketers, students, and 35+ dads who sometimes come with their kids.

we started with one saturday game. now we play 3 times a week because the participation is that crazy. sometimes it’s even difficult to organise and manage the games (good problem to have i suppose).

but yeah, it feels good. and we’ll continue sticking to the same core philosophy, no matter how big the group becomes.

• if you love football but feel insecure about your footballing abilities…
• or you think you’ve aged and won’t fit into any football group…
• or you’re an introvert who’s afraid that people will judge you or shout at you in public…

this is literally the group we built for you.

come play. make wrong passes. miss open goals. get tired in 10 mins. nobody cares.
