5 Lakh+ Drivers Onboarded in 10 Days — One of the Most Promising Ride-Hailing Apps Looking for Unconventional GTM Ideas

We’ve built a taxi ride-hailing marketplace platform based out of Tamil Nadu and currently operating across Tamil Nadu.

In just 10 days, we’ve crossed 5 lakh+ drivers onboarded, with little to no marketing spend.

Our model is fundamentally different. We charge just ₹2.6 per ride, irrespective of the ride distance. This has allowed us to scale the supply side rapidly.

As we anticipated, the next challenge is the classic chicken-and-egg problem on the customer demand side.

We’re well aware that customer acquisition comes with a significant cost. We already have the funds and an acquisition team working on it.

But we’re now reaching out to creative people and experts in GTM, growth, consumer acquisition and marketplaces who can give us unconventional ideas to reduce customer acquisition costs and accelerate demand.

Any creative input would be genuinely appreciated.

If you have an unconventional approach, a relevant experience, or have solved a similar problem before, we’d love to hear from you.

For serious players who are interested in collaborating, we’re also open to a performance-based collaboration around the venture.

There’s a lot more behind the model that allows us to operate at ₹2.6 per ride, and we’re happy to share the details privately with serious people who can contribute meaningfully.

Looking for serious inputs from people who understand growth and can think beyond conventional GTM playbooks.

Looking for support for my dream ♥️

I honestly didn’t know if I should make this post.

Asking people for help with something you’ve spent years building isn’t easy. But I’ve come this far, and I don’t want to give up when I’m so close to seeing my dream on screen.

Hi everyone, I’m Prabhakaran, 26, from Madurai.

For almost 2 years, I’ve been working on a 36 minute short film that I’ve funded mostly with my salary, savings and loans. Around ₹2.5 lakhs has already gone into making it.

We have some amazing actors and a few familiar faces in the film, and I genuinely believe we’ve created something special.

The biggest struggle has been post production. Due to limited funding, I’ve been working on it for the last 6 months, and I’ve now reached a point where I’m financially exhausted and can’t take on any more debt.

I’m looking to raise ₹50,000 to complete the remaining post production and promotion.

If you’re able to contribute, even a small amount would genuinely mean a lot to me. If required, I’m also willing to put a proper ROI agreement in place and repay the entire contribution within 6 months after the film is completed, promoted and released.

This film was made purely out of my love for filmmaking. I come from a humble family, and this has taken almost everything I had, but I still believe it’s worth finishing.

If you can’t contribute, even sharing this post or the BTS video would help more than you know.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. ❤️

Looking for people who want to earn 10% of every conversion through simple phone calls | food consultancy

Your role is simple. Reach out to restaurants and see if they're facing issues with online sales on Swiggy or Zomato, or if they want to improve their online presence and grow their online business. If they're interested, connect them with us and we'll take it from there.

You can source leads however you like. There is no investment or cost from your side and leads gathering is also pretty easy.

You'll earn 10% of every successful conversion. If you consistently bring quality clients, your commission percentage will increase over time.

Note: If the leads are outside Tamil Nadu, they must be comfortable communicating in English, as our team does not currently have strong Hindi-speaking support.

If you're interested, send me a DM and I'll explain the process.

Small in Height, Big on Dreams.

Hey everyone!

I'm Gautam, 26, based in Chennai.

I'm a person with dwarfism. Growing up, it was never something that defined me. I had amazing friends, loved meeting new people, and genuinely enjoyed being around communities.

Things changed after I lost my previous job. I was relieved from my role because a work-from-home arrangement wasn't possible, and accessibility and commuting became significant challenges. Since then, I've been actively looking for a role where my skills matter more than the logistics of getting to an office.

Over the last few years, I've worked across social media strategy, brand strategy, GTM strategy, pre-sales, and business development. I love understanding people, building brands, creating content, and helping businesses grow.

I joined this community because I want to learn from people building exciting things, connect with founders and operators, and hopefully find opportunities where I can contribute.

And even if you're not hiring, I'd love to connect, learn from your journey, and exchange ideas.

Looking forward to getting to know you all

Small in Height, Big on Dreams.

Hey everyone!

I'm Gautam, 26, originally from Madurai and now in Chennai.

I'm a person with dwarfism. Growing up, it never felt like something that defined me. I had great friends in school, and I've always loved being around people. I enjoy listening to people's stories and I feel most alive when I'm surrounded by them.

Then adulting happened.

I worked for almost two years before being relieved from my role, and that's when reality really hit. I have experience in brand marketing, digital marketing, GTM strategy, and business development, but I've been struggling to find another job for the past few months.

The biggest challenge isn't my competence. It's accessibility and commuting. It hurts when something you have no control over becomes the deciding factor.

Some days it feels really gloomy. What once helped me connect with strangers because of my height now feels like a barrier while job hunting. I also miss how surrounded I used to be by people. Life has felt a little lonely lately, and I guess that's one of the reasons I'm here.

Hellow once again makkale

I'm really into content creation, filmmaking, books, literature, mental health, and entrepreneurship.

If any of you know of any remote or virtual opportunities, I'd really appreciate it if you could let me know. Otherwise, I'm just happy to be here, make some friends, have good conversations, and exchange ideas.

Looking forward to getting to know you all.

(Btw this is written for a friend gautham he doesn't have reddit or karma)

The newest coolest community in madurai 🌀

On 19th July, we hosted our very first community meetup at Aadukalam Cafe. It was a small taste testing session where everyone got to try our food, share feedback, and interact with Chef Ramprakash, who spoke to the crowd about the vision behind the cafe and spent time chatting with everyone personally.

It was a small gathering, but the response was amazing. A big thank you to everyone who came and made it special. ❤️

We would love to make these meetups a regular thing, mostly on weekends, since we are in Thiruppalai.

Some ideas we have so far:

🎲 Board games

🚀 Startup networking

👩 Women's networking

👶 Young mothers meetup

🤝 Meet new people sessions

🎤 Sing along evenings

🎱 Pool table meetup

🎬 Movie enthusiasts meetup

📚 Book readers meetup

What other meetups would you like to see in Madurai?

If you'd like to join the community or attend future events, drop a comment or send me a message. We'd love to have you!
