came here to buy 4 (25rs each) batteries so gave the store person 200rs in a single note. but he gave back only 50 rs and in some carelessness i forgot to check the balance, when i took my scooty the realisation hit and returned back to the shop asking for the balance 50. and all of this happened within 5 mins

this guy refused to give the money back saying “you should have asked immediately it’s not my fault and i will not give the money” and kept refusing

HELLO BROTHER YOU ROB MY MONEY IN BROAD DAYLIGHT?

he made a whole scene outta of it and still refused until i said i’ll call the cops who stood in the next street

there was another lady present in the shop and she did accept that he gave me 50rs in the place of 100. finally he had to give me and he shooed me away like i owed him money? wtf?

these old people need to know manners for fucks sake

there’s not even a cctv camera, god knows how many people he cheated off

this is an awareness post not shop anything from this hypocritical shop

Guys, I’m a big horror movie fan and I’m planning a full movie day on the 30th. The plan is to catch Obsession, Backrooms, and Passenger; all on the same day b2b.

Most likely at INOX Marina Mall or Phoenix Mall. In between movies I defo wanna grab food at a nice cafe and hit up a bookstore. (Basically just spending the entire day there at the mall)

Literally none of my frens are down to "waste" a whole day at the mall with me, so I’m looking for some new movie buddies lol. If anyone wants to join, u’re welcome to come along. Preferably ppl around my age group (18 to 24F). U just have to show up, I’ll figure out the timings and make sure a smooth plan is sorted so nothin overlaps.

This is my 2022 Virtus driven 43kms thus far, and I have been cautiously driving it since beginning without leaving any scratches and always kept my patience in our Indian roads, no matter what.

Yesterday, I was driving through northern part of chennai roads in TN (most chaotic traffic in my driving experience), it was a one way road with a Tasmac (wine shop) in it. An auto came opposite which is a wrong way driving. Despite this situation, I slowly halted my car near opposite to the Tasmac where literally 30 to 40 two wheelers parked just on the road disrupting flow of traffic and I left way for the auto to exit the one way road. While he was crossing my car, we made eye contact and I stared at him asking why he is coming through one way and making difficulties for all, and the result is - he 'rightfully' uttered some beautiful words and purposefully scratched my car and left a visible dent as shown in the pic above. I do not have dash cam installed [its my mistake] and I will review the cost and see if I can opt for insurance if that's efficient.

I did not had a chance to catch the auto driver or know the vehicle details. I just left the place literally with a broken 💔. I am sure he may have made a mockery out of me last night with his friends, and yeah his ego won!

Though, I did not committed any fault, I pay the price here. Is buying car after a long middle class struggle and driving in india so challenging?

The questions that come up to mind is -

Why do we need to live here and face all these daily challenges?

When one will show empathy on others?

Where is compassion?

Where is accountability?

WHERE IS LAW ENFORCERS AND LAW?

Anyways, to all car drivers, please install dashcam.

To all traffic policemen, 🙏 enforce the law that is already there in the books. It will make our life easier on Indian roads. Jai Hind!
