Indigo denying free 48 hour free cancellation
I booked my flight tickets for domestic travel and later had to cancel the trip. Even after calling within 48 hrs, Indigo has denied the free cancellation citing I booked my trip through a third party vendor (Goibibo). Can they do the same?
Need guidance on immigration for international travel with domestic connection
I’m planning to book a flight from Mumbai to Frankfurt which has a layover in Delhi for 2 hours. I’m not sure where the immigration will be conducted - at Mumbai or Delhi airport ?
If it’s going to be at Delhi, will I have to leave the airport to enter and do the immigration checks ? How will it exactly take place? Also, would 2 hours be enough?
We built this because travel feels unnecessarily exhausting
Not because of the travel itself.
Because of the luggage.
Dragging bags through stations.
Carrying suitcases up stairs.
Managing luggage during layovers.
So we built our startup called GOLITE
Door-to-door luggage delivery.
We pick up your bags before the trip and deliver them directly to where you’re going.
You just travel.
Still early stage.
Still figuring things out.
Would genuinely love feedback from people here:
- Does this sound useful?
- Who do you think needs this the most?
- What’s the first flaw/problem you notice?
Air India mess again. Cancelled international flight.
Made a huge mistake and booked Air India for parents to fly to Thailand from Pune. Direct flight. The airline, in typical payjama chhap fashion, summarily cancelled the direct flight and put them on a connecting flight out of BLR. The total travel duration is 14 and a half hours!! They offer free cancellation but the prices for alternative flights are almost double. Ridiculous. Every touch point with India is a financial and operational loss. I don’t know how people find this acceptable.

Paytm flight ticket refund scam
I booked a star air ticket on 23 April 2026, from Goa to Bangalore through Paytm. Star air cancelled the flight on 29th April and they informed me that they would refund the full amount back to the 3rd party (Paytm). They also confirm about 10 days back they the have refunded the money back to Paytm.
I’m rigorously trying to get my money back from Paytm, I’m raised a support ticket about 20 days back, with all the details and proofs but no reply on that.
I’m constantly messaging and posting on “X” and on “Instagram”, I’ve received only 1 reply a week back stating that they are checking on it but no reply since then. Absolutely ZERO support and help.
What are my options? How can I proceed further to get my refund ?
I’m also attaching screenshots of my messages, posts and emails
Has anyone booked Delhi to US flights recently via Qatar/Emirates/Lufthansa without paying for seat selection? Did you get split up?
I’m booking alternate tickets for my parents from Delhi to Chicago (ORD) because their original flights got cancelled.
I’m looking at Qatar, Emirates, Etihad, and Lufthansa, but all of them are charging a hefty extra fee just to select regular economy seats. Otherwise, it’s "random assignment at check-in."
Since it's a super long-haul journey, I really want them to sit together, but paying the extra seat fee for 4 segments (round trip) is adding up to a crazy amount.
For those who have travelled recently on these airlines with a companion under the same PNR/booking code without paying for seats:
Did the system automatically seat you together when online check-in opened?
Did anyone actually get aggressively split up into random middle seats?
Would love to hear your real-world experiences, especially with Lufthansa or the Gulf carriers.
PLEASE HELP! - Might have kept my power bank in my check in baggage
Hi guys! Im not a frequent flyer and I have a flight from Goa to Bangalore with my family today evening. While packing, I might’ve kept my power-bank in one of my 3 suitcases, I tried to search but couldn’t find it. It should be in there cause it’s not anywhere else. My question is, once I reach the airport or while checking in my baggage, can I ask the indigo helpdesk to scan my check in luggage and let me know which suitcase the power bank might be in so I can get it out?
What happens if it somehow it ends up in the baggage and they catch it? Will they not load my suitcase? Sorry for the silly questions but we already missed our flight yesterday and I’m super stressed :(
[Question]: Air India customer care gave wrong information, cost me ₹17,000, what are my options for compensation?
Need some advice regarding a horrible experience with Air India today.
I had a return/onward Air India ticket from Kolkata. The inward sector of the booking had become a no-show, so before going to the airport I specifically called Air India customer care to confirm whether my Kolkata flight was still valid.
I spoke with a customer care executive named Ashwin. After a long discussion, he clearly told me that because the previous leg was a no-show, my remaining flight was no longer valid and I would not be allowed to board.
Since I had to travel urgently and there was no resolution provided, I ended up booking a last-minute Indigo ticket which cost me around ₹17,000 because of dynamic pricing.
Here’s the crazy part: when I reached the airport and spoke directly with Air India staff, they told me my original Air India ticket was actually VALID and I could have boarded the flight.
So basically:
Customer care gave me incorrect information
I relied on that information
I suffered a financial loss because of it
I have:
Case ID from Air India
Call details/time
Name of the executive
Indigo booking/payment proof
Original PNR
Do I actually need a DATV? Indian Passport, DEL -> LHR -> BCN (Single BA Ticket, standard Schengen tourist visa)
Hey everyone,
I'm looking for a straightforward answer from anyone who has recently flown this route or knows UK transit laws inside out.
I am flying Delhi (DEL) to Barcelona (BCN) with a 3 to 5-hour layover at London Heathrow (LHR).
My setup:
Passport: Indian
Ticket: Single ticket, fully booked through British Airways.
Transit: Staying completely airside at LHR. Bags are checked through to Spain.
Visa: Valid standard, short-stay Schengen Tourist Visa (Type C) issued by Spain. I do not have a US, Canada, or Aus/NZ visa.
The UK gov transit tool is a bit confusing. Some forums say a Schengen visa allows you to transit visa-free, but others say only Type D long-stay or ADS group visas count as exemptions for Indian citizens.
Do I need to apply for a Direct Airside Transit Visa (DATV) for this, or will my standard Schengen tourist visa let me pass through LHR without issues? I really don't want to get denied boarding at Delhi airport.
Appreciate any solid confirmation or recent experiences! Thanks!
Aspiring male cabin crew (17M). Is the selection process tougher for guys? Need some honest advice!
Hi guys,
I’m hoping to get some notes on how to prepare for a career in aviation. I'm a 17 year old guy, 5'11 and 70kg, and I really want to start applying for cabin crew positions as soon as I hit the age requirement of 18.
I want to be completely honest about my weak points because I want to know exactly what I need to fix:
- My English isn't great. Don't get me wrong, I can understand it perfectly fine, and I'm totally comfortable when chatting or typing. But when it actually comes to speaking out loud, I fall behind. I tend to hesitate and use a lot of filler words like "uhmm," "aa," and just get stuck. I'm practicing, but I'm worried this will get me rejected instantly in an interview
- I have a bit of social anxiety. I really want to overcome this.
For the guys in this sub: Is the competition way harder for males? Does the ratio of male-to-female hires make it harder to land a job?
Also, I'd love to know:
- Which airlines should a complete fresher like me target first?
- How should I practice for the interviews at home?
- should i join any insititute or should i practice myself at home?
Ixigo full-refund scam
Few weeks back I booked a Air India flight from Ixigo. But, yesterday Air India cancelled the flight. When I reached out to ixigo tave me two options:
Reschedule the flight
Get Full Refund
But the problem with rescheduling is all the flights had over 21 hours of layover time. So, cancellation was my best option.
I also received a confirmation from the ixigo that all my money will be reverted back to my account. But they've deducted around ₹2500 in the name of "Seat"and "Convenience Fee".
I've no issues with "Convenience" charges but who the hell deducts for Seat.

Domestic baggage transfer - indigo
I have an IndiGo domestic itinerary on a single PNR:
- SXR → DEL arrives at 12:30 PM (Delhi T1)
- DEL → GWL departs at 1:50 PM (Delhi T1)
However, the ticket says “Check-in/Bag Drop closes: 12:50 PM” for the second flight.
Since this is a single booking, will IndiGo automatically transfer my checked baggage to the second flight, or does their internal baggage transfer also need to happen before that 12:50 PM cutoff (which leaves only ~20 minutes after landing)?
If internal transfer is not guaranteed, what should I do now to avoid any issue?
Has anyone experienced this with IndiGo domestic connections?
It's my first connecting flight so a bit anxious.
Amazon Flights (powered by MakeMyTrip) still hasn’t refunded my $1,350 THREE MONTHS after
I booked an international Qatar Airways flight through Amazon Flights (powered by MakeMyTrip).
The flight was cancelled by Qatar Airways on February 23.
Refund amount due: ₹1,15,067.
It has now been nearly THREE MONTHS and Amazon Flights still has not returned my money.
What’s worse is that they barely respond.
Whenever they do respond, it’s just the same generic template saying they are “working on it on priority basis” and that they will “keep me updated every 24–48 hours.”
They do not keep me updated.
They do not provide refund timelines.
They do not answer direct questions.
I contacted Qatar Airways directly and got written confirmation that the refund had already been processed on May 7 and submitted back to the ticket issuing office.
Even after this confirmation, Amazon Flights still has not refunded my money.
At one point, support even implied that it was somehow MY responsibility to inform Amazon Flights that the airline had cancelled the flight.
Imagine paying ₹1.15 lakh to a booking platform and then being expected to coordinate between the airline and the travel agent yourself.
Over the last 3 months I have:
- repeatedly contacted support
- maintained email trails
- contacted Qatar Airways directly
- waited through endless “2–3 more days” promises
- still received no refund
This has genuinely been one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had.
If you’re booking expensive international tickets:
Avoid aggregators whenever possible.
Book directly with airlines.
Because when things go wrong, these platforms seem very happy to hold your money indefinitely while giving little to no accountability.
Posting this here so others know what they may be signing up for with Amazon Flights.
Can I register FTI-TTP of my wife from my account & number?
I have actually registered her details from my account for FTI-TTP registration. Does it creates any problem?
Sweet gesture by Indigo
Bought a couple of chocolates for the cabin crew and pilots. In return was offered with a Cup of coffee and a note of thankyou.
