“Indian National travelling from Kathmandu via delhi to a third country may be required to obtain an NOC from Emabasy Of India Kathmandu prior to travel”. Has anyone experienced this?

Saw this on Air India website and am wondering if this is already happening?

I booked a multicity trip through MakeMyTrip yesterday. One flight booking has a valid PNR that I can verify, but for my Kuala Lumpur–Bengaluru AirAsia flight, the PNR provided by MMT cannot be found on AirAsia's website.

I contacted MMT customer support, and they told me the booking is confirmed under a special fare and that I'll receive the actual PNR/ticket only 24 hours before departure.

I'm concerned because this is an international flight, and I want to verify that my seat is actually secured.

Has anyone experienced this with MMT or AirAsia? Did you eventually receive your ticket, and were you able to verify the booking with the airline beforehand?

What steps would you recommend to get written confirmation before the departure date?

So now there is Rs 50 drop off fees charged by Adani at Ahmedabad Airport. First the pick up charges for cabs were drastically increased now there is a drop off charges. Maybe whats next is charges to breathe at the airport too.

I am in Bengaluru, planning to visit my hometown Jaipur during Diwali . But flight ticket from Bengaluru to Jaipur are costing me 12k.

Where are on other hand i saw that Bengaluru to Ahmedabad is costing me 6.5k but there is a layover at Delhi airport for Ahmedabad flight.

So i was thinking what if i opted for this Ahmedabad flight and at the Delhi airport i make the exit with my luggage and travel to Jaipur by train or Volvo.

is it possible to do that, can i make the exit with my luggage. Does the flight company will not ban me. Please help..

What to do

I recently flew IndiGo from Mumbai to Phuket and wanted to share this because I was quite worried about my checked baggage.

I used self check-in/self bag-drop at Mumbai airport. The bag tag was printed, I attached it to my bag and scanned/dropped the bag as instructed.

However, when I checked the system, the baggage was showing 0 kg, which made me concerned that my checked baggage hadn't actually been registered properly.

I continued to the boarding gate and received my boarding pass. At the gate, an IndiGo staff member told me that because I had used the self bag-drop, there was a possibility that my bag could be delayed and might reach on the next flight instead of my flight.

That obviously made me nervous.

I had a physical baggage receipt.

So I wasn't sure whether to trust the 0 kg showing in the system or the physical baggage receipt.

I searched Reddit afterwards and found a few similar experiences where passengers were told their bags might come on the next flight because of baggage processing/loading delays. Interestingly, in at least one case the passenger later said the bag actually arrived on the same flight.

Update: Thankfully, my bag arrived in Phuket on the same flight as me. 😅

So in my case, the 0 kg display was apparently not an indication that my bag wasn't checked in. The physical bag tag/receipt was valid and the bag made it onto the aircraft.

Posting this in case anyone else sees 0 kg after using IndiGo's self bag-drop and starts panicking like I did.

Booked a mid-Oct flight through Goibibo Group Booking. Original departure: 16:45.
Got a message that it’s been rescheduled to 21:45 (confirmed by Goibibo). The original 16:45 flight is now not showing anywhere.
Goibibo is offering a full refund, but fares for these dates are already crazy high.

What are the chances of it getting cancelled?

Guys few days back i booked a ticket from
Booking.com and the website did not ask me for my middle name, but my aadhar card has my
Middle name on it. Will it cause any trouble in boarding. I am travelling from CCU. I contacted indigo once and they told me that i need to cancel
The ticket and rebook but i read some reddit posts which stated that it won’t cause any problem, still in dilemma. Please help

I am a passenger from India and i need advice from you guys.
I had booked an Air Arabia flight from Delhi (IGI Airport) to Sharjah (UAE Airport) in October 6 2025, for the duration 19 March to 28 March 2026.
As you all know, Dubai was attacked in March and we had to cancel our flights (due to the unsafe conditions, provided elder and young children were travelling with us). Since our flight wasn't cancelled by the airline itself, we went to the Air Arabia office in Delhi and after explaining our situation they provided us with a credit note of the booking worth 1.5 lakhs for 2 PNR (Since there were 10 passengers, we had 2 different booking under different PNR). Fast forward to this month, we realized that we have the credit note to utilize. We searched the flights to the destinations to which the airline travels, but all the flights were expensive. Additionally, 1 of the original passenger (aged 68) is having a surgery on 6 October 2026, making him unfit for travel.
We have emailed Air Arabia stating that since 1 of the original passengers is having surgery, he cant travel by a flight and their own policy states that only original passengers can travel. In resolution, we asked for the extension of the credit note by at least 3 months, but they denied stating that they cant do it because of their policy. How can i book the flights when 1 of the original passengers is unfit to travel? We have also tried via X, but they just replied by saying that the case has been forwarded to the relevant team. The expiry is on 7th of this October. Their policy also states that we can travel on the date from which the booking was made, meaning i cant book flights for march.
I want advice from this community for the solutions we can get to get the credit note extended.

Summary - We got a credit note from the airline due to the unsafe conditions in Dubai. Airline issues us Credit note. Fast forward to October, Flights to expensive and cant book for further dates and 1 of the original passengers in surgery, making him unfit for travel. Stated these reasons to the airline via email but our request was denied for extension.
Need advice on what we can do.

Hi everyone,

I have an upcoming Air India journey from Hyderabad to Guwahati via Delhi on 11 October.

- AI-2520: Hyderabad → Delhi, arriving at T3

- AI-879: Delhi → Guwahati, departing at 6:40 AM next morning from T3

- Layover: around 8 hours

- Both flights are Air India and both are scheduled from Terminal 3.

Since this is a long overnight layover, I'm wondering if I can exit Delhi Airport after arriving and go outside for a few hours, then return to T3 around 4–4:30 AM for my onward flight.

Has anyone recently done this with a domestic Air India connection at Delhi T3?

Also:

1. Will I be allowed to exit normally after arriving?

2. If my checked baggage is tagged through to Guwahati, does that create any issue?

3. Do I need to check in again for the Delhi–Guwahati sector?

4. Is there anything specific I should be aware of with an overnight layover?

Looking for recent first-hand experiences .

Hello everyone,

As we know, most of us has been traveling far from home and working in other cities. During festivals everyone wants to travel home. Recently I saw few post as well as articles mentioning that no train tickets available to travel during Durga Puja and Diwali. Not able to afford the flights for all family members. At last, some may afford to go home and most will stay far and celebrating through Video call.The reason of spiking the fare for flights during festivals was always there. But there should be some cap that each airline need to implement it. The flights from HYD to CCU during Diwali ranges from 14k to 25k..on the other hand BOM to London is 25k in Oct. Couldn't find any logic. Agreed to all the consequences that have given impact to the rise in fuel price n ol, but there should be some limit.
