Today I was traveling from Assam to Kolkata and the guy sitting just row ahead was playing some downloaded VDO in pretty high volume. I requested him and he lowered volume bit but still it was not that low. Even when I bring it to notice of the staff, he was just saying ok but he kept volume pretty high.
And while deplaning he was looking annoying gly at me.
Come on what's wrong with these people? If they can't use headphones phone they shud refrain from wati g it during 1.30 hr flight.
I felt so irritated..but can't do aything and more disappointingly no one else objected it.
Was purchasing an international ticket on Air India’a website, and found the price breakdown a bit weird.
Upon checking more closely, it seems like Air India can’t even do basic math correctly! The totals don’t add up!!
Unable to book or even search flights on website or app since morning. Message “Something went wrong”. What’s going on?
Cancelled flights with Vietjet for Singapore Airlines, to travel to Bali.
What kind of experience can I expect in Singapore Airlines, compared to Vietjet?
Also now I have 8 hours layover in Singapore, what can I do for those 8 hours?
We are flying from Delhi to Hanoi via Air India.
Haven’t booked return tickets yet but Vietnam airlines seem to be the cheapest.
We will be booking return from Ho Chi Minh City.
Should we book Vietnam airlines or go for air India only?
Air India return is direct while Vietnam airlines seem to have layover in Hanoi
I want to book Delhi-Bali flight where i am getting instajt discount and cashback on cleartrip and the final difference between Air India app and Cleartrip is around Rs 6000 after considering thw convenience charges also.
But in Air India i might also get Maharaja points which i can use later
Can someone guide me on this as i never booked any flight before
Do i really get Maharaja points, if Yes then how can i use it in future
Hi everyone,
I’m travelling domestically in India on Akasa Air and need to carry 3 used laptops with me.
I contacted Akasa Air customer care, and they suggested that I shut down one of the laptops, bubble-wrap it, and pack it in my checked-in baggage. I’m not so sure whether it’s allowed to pack laptops in checked-in baggage.
I’m planning to keep all three in my cabin baggage instead.
Has anyone recently travelled with multiple laptops on Akasa Air? Were there any issues at airport security or during boarding?
Also, is there any limit on the number of laptops a passenger can carry, assuming the cabin baggage stays within the allowed weight/size limits?
Thanks!
Got scammed by this startup.
This is the kind of feedback we got from a customer after their flight was booked through Nomadiq Smart Booking.
We had predicted that the fare could drop by around ₹2,000.
So they waited.
But instead of ₹2,000, the system eventually found the right booking opportunity and saved them ₹4,256.98.
The funny part?
They came back and said:
“Got scammed by this startup. You predicted ₹2,000, but ended up saving me ₹4,000+.” 😂
Honestly, these are the kind of “scams” we want to keep doing.
Don’t just predict the price. Act when the price is right.
🚨 *AMEX INDIA JUST DROPPED A BIG REVALUATION*! 🔥
If you were thinking “Amex is dead”… maybe think again. 👀
✈️ *Virgin Atlantic*
5 MR → 4 Virgin Points
🔥 1L MR = 80K Virgin Points
🏨 *Hilton Honors*
1,000 MR → 1,500 Hilton Points (Earlier it was 900 - 67% uplift)
🔥 1L MR = 1.5L Hilton Points
That’s a massive uplift for Hilton & Virgin Atlantic.
So if you’re still thinking of applying for / renewing Amex…
👉 Maybe NOW is the time to reconsider. 😏
Just remember: don’t transfer speculatively. Find the redemption first!
*Apply Plat reserve* if you want to be part of this revaluation: https://americanexpress.com/en-in/referral/platinum-reserve?ref=aNUSHMP8RH&XL=MIANS
Hey everyone, looking for advice from frequent flyers or anyone familiar with Air India Express customer support policies.
My sister is an incoming student who booked a Pune to Jammu flight on Air India Express for the 23rd.
This was done because the college announced reporting on the 24th.
Yesterday, the college sent an urgent email pushing reporting to the 31st. Total ticket cost for 3 passengers was ₹24,000.
Rescheduling to the 30th/31st is asking ₹9,000 extra. Cancelling yields barely ₹11,000 back (a loss of ₹13,000+).
To make matters worse, our family recently lost our father less than two months ago, so absorbing a ₹13,000 loss or paying an additional ₹9,000 right now is a massive financial burden.
Since this date change was forced by an official institute notification and we have an ongoing personal hardship, I wanted to ask:
Official Deferment Waivers: Does Air India Express grant compassionate waivers or free date changes if we submit official proof (like college notices showing the sudden schedule change)?
Escalation Channels: What is the best way to get through to someone who actually has the authority to waive fees? Customer care helpline reps usually just read script rules. Is Twitter/X tagging, Nodal Officer email, or AirSewa the best route?
Bereavement Policies: Does Air India Express have a formal compassionate policy for recent family loss that could help waive cancellation/rescheduling fees if we provide relevant documentation?
Any advice or experiences on how to navigate this without losing half the ticket value would be hugely appreciated!
Also, we already tried contacting customer care helpline but they said they can’t waive it.
Indigo miserably failed in expansion plan and already shut some of the routes it started.
Saw this plane flew over me, thinking it's from Mumbai but it seems returned Norse plane, though flightradar is not updated with right airliner.
I had travelled last year AMS-BOM and it was a good alternative for people having domestic leg for tier 2 cities. Unfortunately this year 25th October onward Indigo is deploying Narrow body plane for Amstersam route. Surprisingly their website also removed International to domestic single PNR booking, tickets stopped showing and only option to choose was 15kg on domestic leg, which defeats to purpose for anyone traveling to tier 2 city. Also fare is higher than KLM 😞
Really a sad end! I hope they bounce back once A350 are delivered may be next year!
Wrong date flight booked on 22 Sep it was supposed to 22 Aug of Spice jet. Is there any chance of reschedule or refund
Booked a spicejet domestic flight through Goibibo 2 months ago and accidentally entered my surname as an initial.
ID: Rahul Sharma
Ticket: Rahul S
The initial is the correct first letter of my surname and it's the same passenger. I've already completed web check-in. Goibibo says they can't change it, and SpiceJet customer care says they can't expand an initial to the full surname.
Has anyone faced something similar with SpiceJet or another Indian airline? Were you allowed to board? can I use digiyatra to avoid human checking.
This is my first time and I done stupid mistake so please guys advice.

As the title suggests. On easemytrip they ask to submit a form and all.
So as the title suggest has anyone done it is it allowed I can't carry in check in coz my bag is full with other stuffs and I don't wanna throw it away wanna take it with me can I take it in my hand baggage also it's a electronic item has anyone done it?
We all saw the news about the NCLT slamming them yesterday for their last-minute legal gymnastics with lessors. I dont think they will be able to convince all of the lessors to settle tbh. I think they are shutting down this week for sure. I feel so bad for all the employees who arent getting paid by this stupid airline. Heard some folks are waiting for over 4 months now. How are they legally allowed to function with no consequences while getting free labor. Crazy stuff. anyways I though of posting this to get y'all take on it? As long as they have dubai rights they might interest some party to fund them but I dont think thats possible anymore at this point. Good to have some backup plans for those who fly with them (thankfully not me, phew). Thoughts.

Hi Redditors! I have a 2025 expired Schengen Visa which I’ve used twice. As per Taiwan ROC Immigration, Indian passport holders can obtain online TAC for short stay and no need of a visa. I have already obtained it and my flight is with Singapore Airlines. I’m worried that they won’t allow me to board since I have an expired Schengen visa. Has anyone faced a similar situation? Were there any complications? Please advise, I’m travelling solo so want to be careful 😢
Hi All,
I am planning a trip to India from the US and I need to take my work related laptop and a 32 inch screen with me. If I check in the monitor in its original case would I have to pay duty fees? I didn’t purchase the screen or the laptop. It was sent to me by my company.
Thanks all!
