Why are flights not cheaper even if you book several months in advance

I was checking flights from Bangalore to Bali, it showed me booking 5 months in advance is generally cheaper. But when i checked it’s actually 10k more. When is the right time to book? Last min flights are better or months in advance ?

looking for a tech pack designer

Looking for a freelance technical designer to build my first tech pack (non-standard grading)

Building a denim pants brand in India for pear-shaped and hourglass body types with a significant waist-to-hip differential ("waist gap") — a contoured, range-based waistband (differential band system, similar logic to Levi's Curve ID) instead of standard sizing.

Manufacturer has an in-house pattern maker and will produce samples from the tech pack before bulk production, so I need someone who can translate the concept into a clear, factory-ready tech pack — especially the grading rules, since this logic isn't something a standard template covers. Familiarity with Indian manufacturing is a plus.

If this is you, or you know someone, comment or DM. Happy to share more details.

Looking for pattern maker / designer and a manufacturer with low MOQ

Hey guys !
I’m starting my own denim brand called Arc & Cinch! I’m working on eliminating the waist gap and we are coming up with new sizes rather than going with the traditional hip to waist ratio of 10-12inches. We are focusing on making pants that genuinely fit hour glass and pear shaped girlies.

Who I’m Looking For:

  1. Pattern Master / Technical Designer: Someone experienced in drafting heavy rigid blocks, working with large hip-to-waist ratios, or proficient in CLO 3D simulation.
  2. Apparel Manufacturer / Sampling Unit: A boutique manufacturer or export house (preferably in or around Bengaluru) capable of small-batch sampling and prototyping with heavy denim.

If this aligns with you please DM me or drop a comment! And I would genuinely appreciate any kind of support.

Ladies I need your help. what do u think of this idea?

okay real talk —

i'm built with a tiny waist and very full hips and i cannot find jeans that fit me without a tailor. not once. ever. jeans either fit my hips and a huge gap at the waist or fit my waist and won't go past my thighs. there is no in between. (I had posted about this earlier )

i think this is a pear shape AND hourglass problem , basically anyone with a significant difference between their waist and hips gets completely ignored by every brand ever made

so i've been thinking about starting a brand specifically engineered for this. two fits — one for a 12 inch waist to hip difference and one for a 15 inch difference. jeans that actually fit both without the gap, without the tailor, without the crying in the trial room. And I'll be providing an adjustable strap which will help you reduce extra inch or 2.

but before i spend a single rupee i need to know if you guys actually exist or if i'm just built weird and delusional 💀

tell me honestly —

do you have the same problem? does your difference fall closer to 12 inches or 15 inches and more?

i'd rather be roasted now than broke later 😭

drop your honest thoughts below. thank you.

Ladies - For those with a big waist-to-hip difference — how do you shop for pants?

https://preview.redd.it/plmxvvnvro8h1.png?width=500&format=png&auto=webp&s=464ac3810a6ae40b1328e4dc8cd47b8b15f179ab

I've been struggling with this for years and I'm trying to understand if this is as widespread as I think it is.

My measurements: 29" waist, 46" hips. That's a 17" difference. Every pair of pants I try either fits my hips and gaps at the waist, or fits my waist and won't go past my thighs. Off-the-rack just doesn't exist for me.

I'm doing some research on this and would love your help. If you're comfortable sharing:

  1. What's your waist and hip measurement (or just the difference)?
  2. Do you struggle to find pants/jeans that fit without tailoring?
  3. Has any brand actually solved this for you — Indian or international?
  4. What's your current workaround (buy for hips + tailor the waist, give up on certain styles, etc.)?
  5. What would you pay for pants that actually fit — if a brand specifically designed for this gap existed in India?

I'm specifically trying to understand the Indian market here, but global responses are helpful too for comparison.

No pitch, no product. Just research. Help a girl out

For those with a big waist-to-hip difference — how do you shop for pants?

I'm so done. Every single pair of pants I try either fits my hips and won't close at the waist, or fits my waist and I can't get it past my thighs. I've been dealing with this my whole life and I genuinely don't know if it's just me or if this is a common thing for Indian women.

My difference is 17 inches between waist and hips and no brand — Indian or international — has ever just worked off the rack. My current routine is buying for hips and taking it to a tailor every single time, which adds ₹200–300 and 3 days to every pants purchase. It's exhausting.

Has anyone actually found something that works? Any brand, any price point, any style? And what's your workaround right now?

Just need to know I'm not alone in this.
