AI UGC works better for me as a testing layer than as the final ad

I’ve gotten a lot less religious about AI UGC lately.

At first I thought the goal was to make a finished ad with AI. Full script, avatar, product shot, voice, everything. That’s also where it gets gross fast. You can smell the fake testimonial energy from a mile away.

The more useful version for me has been using AI video before the real ad exists. I use it to see if a hook feels stupid, if the product angle makes sense visually, if the pacing works, if a concept looks TikTok-native or just like a LinkedIn founder’s fever dream. PixVerse has been pretty good for this because I can jump between models without rebuilding the whole thing every time. Seedance 2.0 feels strong for motion, Kling still has that cinematic instinct, Veo is useful when it behaves, and PixVerse V6 has been better than I expected for clean social-style visuals. HappyHouse is also fun
