Despite saying ill provide my own taillight and bumper the quote was 8k to repair. I didn't think it was that bad. Am i getting screwed?

Taillight, bumper, and possibly the trunk are not my concern. The body damage by the fuel door is what im worried about

1.(first photo) does anyone have any suggestions for a replacement or a fix to this shift plate trim piece coming off when I shift forward? It has clips but they arent strong enough.

2. (Sencond photo) this button is clipped onto the shifter, no idea what it is, doesnt make any noise when pressed, doesnt seem to do anything. And Ideas?

3. (Last photo) my parking brake light is on constantly. Any fixes or ways to disable it?

I know my head unit is horribly placed, i will fix that soon. Previous owner didnt leave enough wire for it to mount further back.

Thanks to everyone who commented on my last post. Will be checking for vacuum leaks this weekend. I dont have many tools or general knowledge on this vehicle so tips n tricks would be appreciated!

I picked up an 89 lx thats been cobra swapped. No info on the motor. It idles from 800-1500. Any ideas? Ill post more videos in the coming days
