Hello i am writing this because i have the following problem

My company computer's hard disk is going bad and is making problems and i want to change the hard disk but the program that is on that disk is licensed and it reads the serial number of it

The license is like 500 euro and the distributor is being an ass and wants me to buy a new computer which has terrible specs for a lot of money and a new license for my company which i already have

Is it possible for me to buy a new hard disk and somehow change the serial number so whenever i transfer the licensed program it would work
