Periungual wart success story
I’ve had this wart for 4 years, and tried removing it with freezing (maybe like 6 sessions at the dermatologist wich did almost nothing), Nd Yag laser (2 sessions) wich did a bit more but still didn’t get rid of the wart; I also tried with salicylic acid, vinegar, baking soda, tape, took zinc supplements for a while.
Nothing. Worked. I was desperate, my nail started to lift on the side, the wart was spreading underneath the nail surface.
And then, I found a magical solution on 22 February, when I also started applying it.
It’s called Verolit Forte, it costs 30 lei (6 euros) in Romania and it’s from a Romanian brand. Initially found a recommendation here on Reddit.
So I basically applied it one week every day and then waited for the wart to dry and fall off. After a few days the wart turned black, then it dried and literally came off in one piece. It also formed puss underneath when it started to come off. And disintegrate. So satisfying.
Then did another 3 sessions like this (the last time I did it just to be sure it was clear).
The last 2 pics are with a semi clear nail polish on, but you can see that the nail bed is starting to heal and look normal, and the sling also got back the natural structure.
I am 98%sure that the wart is gone by the way it looks and feels, it does not hurt anymore, but I will maybe do another post when my nail heals fully.
