My moms dog bit my daughter now 3 times
My mom’s toy poodle is very reactive. He’s not trained. He bit my daughter twice in the past month not drawing blood. I asked nicely for them to put him in a room and not so nicely the second time. Well today he leapt and bit my daughter and drew blood for her trying to hug my mom. I said she will not be going back over there since he is reactive and they are not taking her safety into consideration. They blamed her. They are now apologizing. I am so upset because they are the only support we have, and they know that. They’re choosing their dog over seeing their granddaughter. I’m so frustrated. They did say they’d never want her to be hurt but they “let their guard down”. I said that’s not the problem, it’s that the dog bites. The dog bit a plumber a week ago too. They’re so irresponsible with him I am so upset.
