It’s the second plant my lovely brother gifts me . And I feel so bad because I failed to care of the first one (it was another one - a Chrysanthemum)

It’s day 3 of the plant and leaves and flowers already seem … weak ? I made some researches the day he brought it and I know it’s a tropical plant , that it likes humidity , but also light for the flowers, and that I should water it every 2 days (it’s 28°C here )
I really tried to follow everything … why does it look like that ?
