Help with Rent / Bills - at risk of losing my housing - in early recovery/sobriety. Please help.
Hey everyone, I'm Brian....I am an individual in long term recovery who has struggled w/ my mental health and sobriety for a good part of my adult life. Earlier this year I went into a 3 month treatment program that really changed my life! I ended up staying here in Lancaster and thanks to the help of my family I was able to sign a lease and move into my "own place" (renting a room) for the first time in over a decade. I am really proud of myself, but I didn't expect to have such a hard time finding employment - I have a really sporadic, inconsistent job history because of my struggles and I am not able to pay my rent and bills for next month - and am at risk of losing my living situation, so I am here hoping some of you can help me <3. I feel awkward and kind of ashamed to be 43 and having to ask for help like this, but I know if it was the other way around, I wouldn't hesitate to help someone else if I was able to....so thanks in advance guys...and if you can't donate, maybe you could share my post, or suggest to me where else I might post this for support.... <3 much love and gratitude. - Brian
