This is specific but does anyone else have the experience of consistently watching those around you form lifelong bonds while being left alone. For instance I have gone to summer camps, traveled, and have been a part of school clubs, and can usually make one or two temporary friends. But I notice mostly everyone else in these groups bonding closer and see them all still hanging out years later while I’m left alone. It especially hurts when I find a club I feel I belong to. I watch everyone else still talking years later and no longer get invites. It is like being a background character in everyone else’s show.
