So, I have a startup around live experiences and offline social networking through hosting and joining events and people near the location can join.
We have been able to get it to 500 users now, and since it has slowed down, we wanted to create IG visibility. But there is never a lot of traction on the reels and posts. The most we did was 2.5K views on a reel, and followers are still at 160.
Any ideas what I can do better?
So, I am trying to create based on live experiences and offline social networking.
The idea is to get people hosting events since everyone in India is looking for something other than typical club outings to have a fun weekend.
I created an IG page, not much followers yet, just 160. But I have created myself a grid of reels and statics to make it look better. I simply dm any account who has recently put out content that they are hosting an event or looking to go to one, or in similar lines.
Even if some of them say that they are ready to host the event on the app, there is no follow-up from their side.
It is hard to crack the cycle of no users -> no events, no events -> no users. Already have 500+ users on the platform though.
